International Attendee Visa Request

If you are an international visitor who requires a visa to attend the conference, it is very important to start the process of applying for the visa early. Approval for visas may take more than three months for some nations.

For details on international travel to the U.S., visit the U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs. Citizens of select countries qualify for travel under the Visa Waiver Program.

Supporting Documentation

As a part of the formal application process for a visitor visa, U.S. consular officials require additional documentation to substantiate the stated purpose of the trip. Prior to commencing the visa application process, prospective international attendees to a TechCon 365, PWRCON or DATACON conference should request an official letter of invitation to the event once conference registration is complete and paid in full.

This letter of invitation should be submitted by the attendee to a local U.S. Embassy or Consulate as a supporting document outlining the reason for travel into the United States. Please note that the issuance of a letter of invitation from a TechCon 365, PWRCON or DATACON conference does not guarantee you will be granted a visa approval, nor does it commit the conference to assist in obtaining your visa.

It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to collect any and all documentation and fees required for entry into the U.S. The invitation letter cannot and will not be sent directly to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for you. The conference cannot and will not directly contact the U.S. Department of State, U.S. embassies, or consular offices on behalf of any prospective conference attendee. The invitation letter does not financially obligate the conference in any way and all expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

Guidelines for Requesting a Letter of Invitation

    • Registration for the full conference must be complete and paid in-full prior to requesting a letter of invitation. If you have not completed your conference registration, you will not be granted a letter of invitation. Letters are not issued for single-day or two-day attendance.
    • Letters of invitation are issued by email only. Please allow 2-3 business days for your request to be processed.
    • Should your visa application be denied, the conference will refund your registration fee in full.
